Licensing
New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor (HIC)
Registered with the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs. Required by NJ law for any contractor performing home improvement work on a residential property. We provide our current registration number on every signed contract.
Municipal building permits
We pull required permits for every job that needs one. Permit cost is itemized on your estimate so you see exactly what you're paying for.
Insurance
General Liability Insurance
Active commercial general liability policy covering property damage and personal injury. We provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming your property as additional insured on request, before any work begins.
Workers Compensation
Active workers comp coverage on every employee on your property. Required by NJ law for any contractor with employees. If a worker is injured on your roof, your homeowners insurance is not on the hook.
Automobile Liability
Commercial auto liability covering our trucks and equipment during transit and on-site.
Manufacturer Training
GAF Installer Training
Our installers are trained on GAF's full architectural and designer shingle systems. Proper installation per manufacturer spec is what unlocks GAF's full material and labor warranties — many roofs that fail early were not installed to spec.
Specialty Material Experience
Decades of combined crew experience on slate, cedar shake, standing-seam metal, and clay tile. We don't pretend to be specialists in what we're not, but we know which materials we've installed many times and which we'll refer out if needed.
Trust & Reviews
BBB Listed
We maintain a Better Business Bureau listing where homeowners can see our complaint history and accreditation status.
5-Star Google Reviews
We ask every satisfied customer to leave a Google review — and we respond to every review, positive or negative.
References on Request
We'll provide direct references — phone numbers and addresses of homeowners we've worked for — when you're evaluating us against other contractors. We're proud of the work.
Warranties: What You Actually Get
Workmanship Warranty
Every roof we install carries a written workmanship warranty against installation defects. The specific length depends on the system installed — but it's in writing, on the contract, and we honor it.
Manufacturer Material Warranty
Shingle and component manufacturers (GAF, CertainTeed, and others) carry their own material warranties — typically 25-year limited or lifetime limited depending on the shingle line. We register your warranty with the manufacturer on your behalf after the work is complete.
Extended System Warranties
On qualifying installs using complete manufacturer systems (deck-to-ridge components from the same brand) we can offer extended system warranties up to lifetime limited with labor coverage. Available on request, may require an upgraded material package.
Questions to Ask Any Contractor
Use this list when you're vetting any New Jersey roofing contractor — including us. A contractor who can't answer these clearly is a contractor you shouldn't hire.

- 2Will you provide a Certificate of Insurance naming my property as additional insured before any work begins?
- 3Are your workers covered under workers compensation insurance?
- 4Will you pull the required municipal permits, and is the cost itemized?
- 5What is your workmanship warranty in writing?
- 6Will you register the manufacturer warranty in my name after the job?
- 7Can you provide 3 recent local references I can call directly?
- 8Are you a manufacturer-certified installer (and which manufacturer)?
- 9What happens if you find rotten decking during tear-off — what's the per-sheet replacement cost?
- 10Do you require any payment before work begins, and if so, what percentage?
