About Monmouth County
Monmouth runs from the inland Freehold–Howell–Manalapan suburbs east to the Atlantic shore from Sandy Hook down past Asbury Park.
Monmouth coastal homes need a different spec. We use higher wind-rated shingles, stainless or coated fasteners, and upgraded ridge ventilation that won't blow off in a nor'easter. Inland Monmouth is more conventional, and we handle the 1980s–90s tract housing in Marlboro and Manalapan with our standard architectural-shingle package.
Local Housing & Weather
Housing stock: Inland Monmouth is dominated by 1970s–90s suburban subdivisions. The coastal towns add a mix of older shore cottages, larger newer homes built post-Sandy, and the dense early-1900s housing of Asbury Park and Long Branch.
Weather & wear: Coastal Monmouth is hit hard by nor'easters and salt-laden ocean wind. Flashing corrosion accelerates here, and any roof within a mile of the ocean needs upgraded fasteners and corrosion-resistant detailing.

Window & Glass Services in Monmouth County
Monmouth County runs from inland residential into coastal shore exposure, which means window scope here covers two very different needs in the same county. Inland Monmouth County towns get standard residential replacement work — vinyl, fiberglass, and vinyl-clad wood from ENERGY STAR rated manufacturers. Coastal Monmouth County towns get hurricane impact-rated glazing (ASTM E1886/E1996 certified, PVB or SGP laminated) that qualifies properties for insurance wind-mitigation credits and survives the wind-borne debris exposure that comes with nor'easters and hurricanes. We handle both ends of the Monmouth County window market — residential replacement across the county, impact-rated installation on the coast, and commercial storefront work in the downtown cores.
